Finally we come to my rants. I have strong opinions on some aspects of this world which we inhabit and have presented here a selection for you to read and consider. They have been written to be as objective as possible in an attempt to add something useful to rational debate on these topics. It's also a huge ego-trip on my part. :-)
I wrote this in the aftermath of events of the 11th of September 2001.
It often seems to me that the Great British public will only acknowledge a things worth if it has come from abroad. This infuriates me and has lead to my "Flying the Flag for British Industry" page. A similar perception seems to be prevalent when the British populous is dealing with science and engineering. This is covered, not surprisingly, by "Flying the flag for British Innovation".
Finally, it's that old chestnut, the World Wide Web, where it came from and where it is going. Read about my opinion on the Browser Wars, the direction of HTML development and how I think W3 should be used.
