The Realm gallery is a concrete building constructed during heyday of the
concrete is fab
movement. It is full of exciting curves and audacious
angles. Like most concrete buildings from this era it is also grey and
streaked with muck and rust. Not quite the inspiring sight the architect had
intended.
While most of my web site has been an exercise in ego inflation this part
takes the biscuit. I would be the first to admit that my artistic talent is
somewhat akin to the famous cluster of colour blind Hedgehogs, in a bag.
However these sketches have given me pleasure, mostly because for once what
comes out on the paper is something approaching what I could see in my minds
eye. I have decided to publish them here because, against all rational
thought, I am proud of them. They may even inspire others, mostly because
they'll be able to point and say, Hey, my stuff is better than that
.
